POWER YOGA: Everyone can challenge themselves in power yoga! In this class you will build strength, endurance as well as a strong core. Studio will be heated to approximately 75-80 degrees. Focus will be on cultivating strength for a healthier body.
POWER ZEN YOGA: This is a heated power yoga class that is truly for all levels! Cheryl encourages everyone to practice at their own pace. She also offers intention cards, essential oils and yoga teachings to help you reach your zen.
All LEVELS YOGA: In this class, you will practice poses to increase your range of motion and flexibility. You will also spend time cultivating upper body strength, core strength and balance. Focus will be on the alignment of the yoga poses as well as on modifications making it suitable for all levels. Studio will be heated to approximately 75-80 degrees.
TEACHER TUESDAYS 4:30 pm $10.00: This is an all levels yoga class offered for $10.00. We offer this class and price to everyone but it is to show our appreciation and gratitude to all the school teachers in our community!
STRETCH & RELAX: Relax, improve flexibility and quiet the mind. This class is for the beginner to the athlete. Feeling tight and stressed? Stretch and Relax will decrease tension in the body through gentle yoga postures and stretches designed to increase flexibility and improve joint function. Studio will be heated to approximately 75-80 degrees.
BEGINNERS YOGA: A good start to anyone that has never done yoga before or anyone that wants to get back to the basics. Focus will be on the alignment of the yoga asanas (poses)and explanation of yoga breathing techniques.
LUNCH TIME WARRIOR: This yoga class is 40 minutes long and we focus on all the benefits of yoga which include core training, balance, yoga strength progressions as well as increase range of motion and flexibility. This class includes a cool down, savasana and meditation to de-stress your day. Cost is $6.00 or 8 class pack $40.00
YOGAFIT HIIT: Perk up your yoga! Improve your concentration, cardio, strength, flexibility and endurance. In this class you will also do plyometric intervels which increases fat burning. You will build core and glute strength. Glutes work to stabilize the pelvis and keep integrity of movement in the hip joint. Strong glutes can prevent back and knee pain as a weak pelvis can directly effect these areas. The studio will be heated to approximately 80-85 degrees. Be prepared to sweat and have fun too!
ROLL, RELEASE & RESTORE: This class combines myofascial release techniques using therapy balls, restorative postures, gentle stretching, guided breathing and relaxation. Improve your joint mobility, massage your sore muscles, and bring some peace to your overburdened mind.
